Fettuccine Alfredo

From the kitchen of Steven Haws

1 lb fettuccine, cooked al dente
3 Tbs butter
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 C grated parmesean chees (alhtough I use the stuff in the bag)
1 pint heavy cream
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp oregano
4 slices (about 1/2-3/4 C shredded) mozzerella cheese
Cook noodles. (I usually boil the water and then put the noodles in when I put in the mozzarella) Place cream and butter in large heavy pot. Add salt, pepper, oregano and garlic. Cook for 5 min. Add mozzarella and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Stir in noodles and mix well with grade cheese.
Serves 6-8
