The Ever-So-Fabulous CAKE POPS

Ingredients:
1 box cake mix
1 can of ready-made frosting
1 Package of Wilton’s candy melts. (white chocolate, milk chocolate, etc.)
Cookie sheet
Wax paper
Popsicle sticks
Sprinkles, etc.

•Prep time 15 min.
•Bake time 35min
•Cool time 1 hr 30 min
•Total time: About 3 hr

Directions:
  • Bake cake and allow to cool completely (about one hour).
  • Crumble cake in large bowl and add frosting (usually 3/4 can of frosting).
  • Put cake mixture in fridge and chill for 30 min
  • Take out and shape dough into balls or press into favorite cookie cutter.
  • Dip end of Popsicle stick in candy melts and insert into cake ball. Allow to harden. This helps cake to stay on the stick.
  • When ready, dip cake pop in candy melts and dry upside down. At this point you can add decorations.
